Will the result always be smaller?
No. Some images are already well compressed. The tool shows the actual result size; reduce quality or dimensions if needed.
Which formats can I use?
JPEG, PNG or WebP input up to 25 MB. Export JPEG or WebP when supported by your browser. Large images are bounded to a 3000px working edge and six megapixels.
Are small details preserved?
Lower quality and resolution can make text harder to read. Check the preview and keep the original image.
